About Pawcific Coast Mobile Veterinary Care

Pawcific Coast Mobile Veterinary Care brings compassionate, personalized veterinary services directly to your doorstep. By providing care in the comfort of your home, we eliminate the stress of car rides, crowded waiting rooms, and cold exam tables. Your pet can be examined and treated wherever they feel most at ease. Each appointment is focused entirely on your pet, and you’ll have our full attention throughout the visit. Dr. Kuppek is committed to ensuring you feel informed and confident in making the best decisions for your pet’s health and wellness. She takes time to explain findings, answer questions, and present all available options so that your care choices are truly collaborative.

What to Expect During the Initial Consultation

This first visit typically lasts about one hour. We’ll begin by discussing the reason for the appointment along with your pet’s medical history, lifestyle, current diet, exercise routine, and any medications or supplements. Dr. Kuppek will then perform a comprehensive physical exam, assessing the eyes, ears, nose, teeth, gums, lymph nodes, heart, lungs, abdomen, skin, and neurological function. Following the exam, we’ll review the findings together and develop a treatment plan tailored to your pet’s needs. If your pet is too anxious to complete a full exam during the first visit, we can conduct a visual assessment and provide oral sedatives to help make a future visit more comfortable.

After each appointment, you’ll receive a written summary via email, outlining exam results, treatments performed, and recommended next steps.

Ongoing Care Options

Some families prefer an annual consultation to create a wellness plan they can follow throughout the year. Others choose more frequent visits for ongoing support, especially for pets requiring regular treatments. Senior pets or those with mobility issues often benefit from more frequent follow-ups to adapt care as their needs change.

In-person follow-ups typically last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your pet’s condition and our discussion. Remote follow-ups may also be available via phone, email, or video chat and generally run 15 to 30 minutes based on your needs.

Telemedicine Services

After the initial in-home consultation, Dr. Kuppek can offer virtual follow-ups via email, phone, text, or Zoom. These remote sessions are great for questions, updates, test interpretations, or reviewing products and treatment plans.

After getting a taste of the warm weather and sunshine in the Caribbean she decided to move to Southern California with her Grenadian pothound dog, Lucy, to start her career as a veterinarian. She worked at a multi doctor clinic as a small animal general practitioner for 6 years in Irvine. She also works as a relief veterinarian at several small animal clinics in LA and OC. She started working as mobile veterinarian a couple of years ago and fell in love with this type of practice. She loves how comfortable the animals are in their own home and how much time she gets to spend with her patient in their own environment. Dr. Kuppek’s special interests include preventative care, dermatology and urgent care. When she’s not working with Pawcific Coast, she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, hiking and spending time at the beach with her husband and their dogs, Lucy and Byron.
